Assigned as System Analyst at client side on two projects for analyzing, modifying, and building systems as per requirements set forth by the business team of the financial firm. The first project included strategies to deal with forbearance accounts. Technologies used were Java with hibernate, shell scripting, SQL database. The second project involved developing a system to tackle a credit line increase evaluating different income values of the consumer. Shell scripting in combination with an internal derivate programming tool were used for the application.Two projects undertaken during the tenure of the job involved :Income Repository Project : Project involved building a system to drive a credit line increase campaign. It was primarily built using shell scripts,and an internally used derivative language. Tasks involved coordinated efforts between different teams, both on and off shore. Shell scripts were written for analysis, testing, and for the functioning of the system. Clearcase utilities were used for scripts maintenance. Other utilities include NDM transfer for cross server transfers. Maestro and Autosys were two different scheduler tools used.Collections Project : Project involved integrating additional business requirements to the system with strategies to handle forbearanceaccounts. Tasks involved writing both one time and production shell scripts to build, test, analyze and initialize the system. Business requirements were required to be integrated into java projects using drools for evaluating business logistics. Data management done through both run time and for analysis was through java hibernate and SQL queries respectively. Also involved was tweaking stored procedures necessary for specific hibernate functioning. Development efforts were coordinated between on-shore and offshore teams with projects checked into svn.

- SAGA is an API required to build distributed applications, framework, tools, and abstraction for applications independent of underlying infrastructure of the system. Test the functionality of SAGA on various platforms and future grid servers. Develop a written perl script (mephisto.pl) for automated installations of SAGA along with its dependencies. Launch Virtual machines using eucalyptus tools (ec2-tools) and test SAGA deployment on the virtual machines. Work includes using Unix/Linux platform. Possible development of MW pattern using SAGA.

Administrative support for Linux platforms like network troubleshooting, and maintaining SVN repositories, its access.
