Efficient utilization of time is a key functional requirement in any business. In banks, it is even more significant with the need for constant, real time data to make several critical decisions. Under the guidance of the Chief Manager, Global Markets Group, I used the SAS BI Tool to automate reports generated by the Sales Admin team of the Markets Group. The reporting process became much more fungible with required human resource for the same reduced from 8 to 2 and an 82% reduction in man-hours. As part of the project, I also ensured deployment of the program and provided a basic level training to the team to ensure smooth transitioning.
