Co-FounderEquus Lifespaces Jan 2018 - Dec 2018This startup initially intended to be a bridge between housing communities / societies and skilled construction technicians for handling communities' civil requirements.Given the competition in the space (Urban Company, Offline Contractors, etc.) I led the pivot of the business model to an offline training model super focused on training "Community / Society Managers".Through this pivot we were able increase on ground performance of "Community / Society Managers" and bundle & deploy their services to multiple communities, ultimately bringing their manpower costs by 75%.On the other hand, such community managers (who came from low income groups) were given access to social security such as savings & retirement fund, health insurance, etc. and most important a source of continued employment through our organizations support, aspects that housing communities could not provide.We were able to tie up with National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC, India), I've personally managed mentoring & placement projects of ~100 students.
