Played a dynamic role in the education projects under Ednopsis. Responsibilities mainly constituted marketing and communication tasks. Initially, my objective was to prepare all the content for websites of two projects and manage the process of preparing marketing materials such as prospectus and brochures. Responsibilities later shifted to editing and proofreading college application essays of students and counselling students on their career and academic aspirations. Also, maintained the social media accounts of the projects, which constituted regulars posts and responding to student queries.

Bangkok Metropolitan Area, Thailand

Supported the Social Policy and HR department in two separate internships with communications tasks such as writing reports, editing project proposals, preparing presentations and other communication materials. One major task was to manage knowledge resources by condensing various information into an innovative dashboard. Also, facilitated workshops and meetings with other UN agencies and government officials and helped initiate Staff Career Development programs such as Mentorship Program. Completed a four day Research Management Training conducted by UNICEF Innocenti.

Created the social media accounts and content for Manosamajik Suswasthya, an online psychosocial care portal managed by Asia Foundation and USAID in the post-earthquake period. Tasks involved maintaining the Facebook and Twitter accounts with regular posts and engagement with followers to meet a target of number of followers. To conclude drafted the final report of the project for evaluation purposes.

Managed a weekly publication that targeted the youth and corporate clients with topics that ranged from entertainment and business to culture. The process started with planning out the content for the upcoming week. Regularly wrote cover stories and feature stories and weekly edited all the articles that were to be published. Had to manage a team of writers, graphic designers and photographers to ensure quality layout of the magazine and timely publication.

Volunteered at an organization for rescued Women Migrant Workers of Nepal. Prepared the draft proposals and budget for the Joint ILO and UN Women Regional Exposure Workshop. Acted as the co-focal person and coordinator in facilitating and organizing the workshop. Interviewed member of the organization to prepare testimonials that were used in the UN Women Global Evaluation case studies.
