About Shrestha Agarwal
Hi! I am a Development Engineer at Viavi solutions working on products for network testing on Ethernet (Layers 1 through 4), Optic fiber and 5G.I graduated from Virginia Tech with an MS in Computer Engineering. My interests are Digital Design, Verification and applications of Machine Learning.In the past, I have gathered experience working on neuromorphic computing and applying hardware-based machine learning models using Spiking Neural Networks to design better architectures on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) at the MICS Lab. I hope to apply my knowledge in Verilog and SystemVerilog to develop more energy efficient as well as biologically realistic models for faster and more accurate learning.I'm also thoroughly interested in computer architecture, signal processing, biomedical devices and embedded systems design. As of now, I try to devote time to increase my knowledge about the applications that are being developed using neural engines and advanced VLSI techniques.
