- Completed the Southeast Asia Farmed Animal Welfare Fellowship (SEAFAWF)- Learnt about the key animal welfare concerns within animal agriculture in the SEA region as well as the intersections between animal welfare, public health and the environment.- Explored different pathways to change including corporate engagement, producer engagement, policy advocacy and public awareness.

Managed a team of 7 engineering students to design the second prototype of an off-grid washing machine project for rural Rwanda that was piloted in Summer 2019.

Worked in a team of 4 to design, build and test a prototype of a simple, energy-efficient washing machine with low water use to implement in rural areas of Rwanda to alleviate time poverty caused by hand-washing clothes.

Collaborated with the Year 2 Design & Manufacture lecturer to introduce sustainability into the course. Researched and formulated a 1-hour lecture and tutorial on environmentally sustainable design principles, focusing on manufacturing and product life-cycle considerations.

Rolls-Royce Nuclear Modelling Group - Studied existing literature, researched, and co-wrote a report on improving the velocity predictions of a particular type of turbulence model (RANS) for turbulent thermal mixing in a pipe T-junction.
