“The DeCal Program is an aggregate of student-run courses at the University of California, Berkeley – here, students create and facilitate their own classes on a variety of subjects, many of which are not addressed in the traditional curriculum.”Facilitates a class titled “Decolonial Climate Education”, providing UC Berkeley students a space to discuss and unlearn Western environmental frameworks rooted in colonial history, explore decolonial theory, and learn about global indigenous ecological knowledge through case studies. We believe that covering global indigenous environmental knowledge and history is crucial to understanding how we can revive our ecosystems and communities in order to navigate environmental solutions from an equitable perspective. This course and curriculum is an extended project of our non-profit organization Project Planet.

Will be assisting 35 hrs/week on meta analysis for peatlands conservation research through nature-based climate solutions.

Project Planet is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to encouraging the public to be environmentally conscious and active. 3500+ students impacted in 16 countries. Worked with Society For Science and We Make Change. 480,000+ people reached globally. We are currently undergoing organizational changes to transform this organization to focus on decolonial climate education.

Assist in data science + environmental science projects !

Intern at the O'Brien lab. I assist on PFAS detection projects for better water pollution remediation. Also, I wrote a paper on the aggravated impacts of climate change in the Global South's water infrastructure and the methods of strengthening their climate resiliency.

36 youth are selected. The eco-gen ambassadors create monthly climate reports abouttheir home country.

I will be teaching two climate education courses on marine and forest sciences to teens.

Selected by the international Elsevier science publishing organization to be a Reviewer in the Journal of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety due to my research experience in this field. I review manuscripts authored by established scientists and Ph.D. candidates.

I write articles for the High School Insider Program.

Conducted 5 research studies on water pollution and bioremediation in school labs. I sent 3 studies to regional science fairs; all won 1st place. 1 accepted for a science journal.
