As a Public Health major and pre-medical student at USF, I have developed an understanding of healthcare beyond the medical aspect in terms of population health. My involvement in the Mask Wearing Habits study has allowed me to acquire and apply proficient research, data analysis, and communication skills. In addition, my experience as a scribe and participation in Health Scholars have enhanced my ability to effectively communicate within the healthcare field. Through volunteering in organizations such as Phi Delta Epsilon and Chemistry Society, I have gained valuable community service experience and contributed to the pre-medical community at USF. My aspiration is to pursue a being in medicine as a physician and make a positive impact on patient and community outcomes. I am particularly interested in exploring the intersection of healthcare and public health to promote health equity. With my skills and experience, I am eager to contribute to improving healthcare outcomes.
