Hello LinkedIn community,I am a dedicated and driven researcher with a Master of Science degree in Medical Biotechnology from Manipal, where I honed my skills and knowledge in the fascinating world of life sciences. I successfully cleared GATE 2024, further solidifying my expertise in the field. Currently I am working as a Research Assistant in the prestigious MAHE-Velbiom Probiotics collaborative research initiative – MARVEL at the Department of OBG, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal. My role involves delving into the intricate world of microbiomes, focusing on the oral, gut, and vaginal microbiomes of pregnant women during the 3rd trimester of pregnancy and breast milk microbiome after giving birth. Simultaneously, I'm also studying the microbiome of the oral and gut in infants from birth to 6 months.Before joining the MARVEL project, I had the privilege of working as a Research Associate in the R&D department of Prakruti Products Pvt. Ltd, a leading herbal company. In this role, I had a diverse range of responsibilities, including in vitro and in vivo characterization of various standardized and organic products, conducting scientifically proven clinical studies, and ensuring safety assessment and efficacy studies. I would also oversee the development of new products backed by scientific evidence and patenting, keeping the organization at the forefront of innovation in the herbal industry.Beyond my professional experiences, as an aspiring PhD fellow, driven by a relentless curiosity for scientific exploration, I believe that research has the power to transform lives, and I am committed to contributing to the advancement of knowledge.I look forward to connecting with fellow professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts in this incredible journey of discovery and innovation.
