Part of Electrical Mechanical Prosecution group.Focus on patent preparation and prosecution for domestic and international clients. Experience in physical sciences including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering, for technologies such as wireless communication networks, MIMO wireless devices, nanomaterials, medical devices, mechanical systems.

Identifying and facilitating problems that relate to patent prosecution of a research technology, includingdrafting patent applications, preparing arguments for office actions, assesing patentability and marketability of the research and presenting the research results in a publishable form.

Office of Commercialization

Primary role is to understand the technology being disclosed to file for a patent and perform a patent-ability search and market assessment for the technology, understand the technology and market requirement for the given technology and reach out to industries, connect inventors to companies interested in licensing the technology. Have experience writing provisional patent application.

• As an Operations Engineering Intern mapped transmission equipment of WECC outage system to Outage Management System (OMS) at California ISO using Web OMS, Access DB and excel spreadsheets.• Tested the outage system using outage cards from WECC.• Learnings include outage clearance study, outage mitigation and planning, contingency analysis, power flow analysis.

August 2013 - February 2014 : Service Engineer, Microsoft Products IT team. Worked with vendors to create a ticket hierarchy and resolve them. Created a Microsoft Excel based tool to generate Monthly Progress Reports with reduced efforts. Was part of the SOX quarterly audit. March 2014 - June 2014 : Software Developer Engineer, Data Lifecycle ManagementSQL Azure Migration release of Data Life Cycle Management tool. July 2014 - July 2015 : Combined software Engineering, Worked from the development to go-live of Community Agent Tool, involving test case creation and testing of the CRM based tool. August 2015 - August 2016 : Software Engineer, Microsoft IT Sales TeamPart of a team creating Microsoft excel plug-in for quota management of Microsoft product sellers. Worked on a Data Management System tool for the sales team from design to first production release enabling processing of around 20 GB of data between various systems of data using SQL and CHEF Framework. Documented the design and processing steps of the tool for easier implementation of similar processes. Created a Coded Automation Test Suite for the UI testing of the tool. Was in charge of deployment of bi-weekly release of the tool .
