Shreya was on a Manager Development Program in the Audit Group in National Office of Deloitte & Touche LLP. She was involved in a variety of activities intended to improve the quality of audits by: • Working on an initiative to enhance the use of technology in performing audits, identifying modern techniques of obtaining audit evidence and thinking about innovating the audits. . Consulting with engagement teams, other groups within the Professional Practice Network, and NPPDs and PPDs on the application of auditing standards and policies• Developing tools, forms and practice aids for audit practitioners to implement and apply auditing and accounting standards, including tools designed to improve inspection results • Developing and delivering learning programs (including national webcasts) on emerging technical audit issues• Working with the Specialists Group within Deloitte to ensure proper coordination between the auditors and specialists group and developing / updating the tools for specialists to use when working on Audit Engagements.
