In my internship at Exponance, I’m responsible for developing a dynamic e-commerce website using JSP (JavaServer Pages) and Java Servlets for backend development. The project involved designing and implementing key functionalities like product catalog management, user authentication, and a shopping cart system. I integrated MySQL as the database to manage user data, product information, and order details.In this role, I worked on:Developing server-side logic using Java Servlets to handle user requests and manage session data.Designing JSP pages for the frontend to dynamically display products and facilitate user interaction.Creating and optimizing database schemas in MySQL to store customer and transaction data.Implementing CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations for product and order management.Ensuring secure communication between the client and server, including user authentication and payment handling.This hands-on experience enhanced my skills in full-stack web development, particularly in integrating Java-based technologies with relational databases like MySQL.
