• Broad role to work on the commercial strategy and business development for PowerVR IP products. The role involved creation and implementation of commercial strategy/tactics to hit the short term revenue targets and achieve long term revenue growth through new business models and expansion into new market segments. • Developed and closed one of the biggest licensing deal at Imagination with a major vertically integrated autonomous automotive. Lifetime value in high eight figure $s • Developed, priced and negotiated multiple complex architecture licence deal with a potential lifetime value in $100s of millions.

Providing business mentorship to Oxford university startups and spinouts.Oxford University Innovation (OUI) is the technology transfer subsidiary of the University of Oxford, supporting University Researchers who wish to commercialize their intellectual property.

• Post Apical’s acquisition heading up product strategy for the camera technology. Responsibilities include product strategy, product definition, customer strategy, business case creation (ROI analysis), marketing and product launch• Additionally responsible for machine learning and computer vision products for embedded and IOT markets • Successfully launched the first product after acquisition, Mali-C71 image signal processor, targeted to deliver a functional safe camera for the autonomous car. Launch generated lot of press coverage, interest and key design wins from the Automotive sector. • Defined and subsequently launched two new image signal processors for embedded/IoT markets- Mali-C52 and Mali-C32. • Won key design opportunities for Arm’s camera technology outside the traditional surveillance space - like smart home assistance, augmented reality and access control devices• Established technology partnerships with the Tier 1 imaging sensor companies like Sony, ON-Semi and Omnivision.

• Reporting to the CEO, the key objective of the role was to create and own strategic marketing plans for Apical and elevate the perceived value of Apical. • Established and led the initial partnership project with ARM. ARM later acquired Apical for $350 million.• Led the partnerships with Dolby and showcased a joint technology demo at Mobile World Congress 2016. The demo was a great exhibition of Apical’s technology, its impact and value in the field of imaging.• Created a new pricing strategy for Apical - Moved the company to value based licensing model and royalties based on a percentage of ASP (average selling price)• Established partnerships with GSMA and worked on next generation technologies in Smart Homes and Smart Cities.• Created go to market strategies for winning in Mobile, Smart Home, Smart Surveillance and held number of technology demo days at key OEMs

• Lead and managed Apical’s hardware engineering team (circa 20 highly talented engineers). Build the team by hiring the best talent from across the globe. Established a culture of continuous innovation and timely delivery• Joined Apical as the 2nd member of the hardware team at an early start up stage and developed the complete strategy for delivery of IP for ASIC deployment.• Worked with and delivered products/solutions to Tier 1 semiconductor firms like Apple, Qualcomm, Samsung, Hisilicon, TI, Huawei and some of the world’s best known OEMs. • Defined and implemented a new product development flow - from algorithm to customer delivery. Specified the various review gates and matrices for measuring innovation.• Developed and implemented a custom Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) for development of Hardware to enable delivery of product/solution that is valuable for the customers and reduce time to market• Product owner (with both development and delivery responsibilities) for Apical’s most successful products – Assertive Display™ and Iridix®️ (HDR). These technologies have now been integrated into over 1 billion consumer devices.

• Worked in the core CPU group and was on the team that developed the successful Cortex-R4 pro-cessor.• Developed a system on chip (SoC) using the Cortex-R4 processor to test the processor in a real world system. This system on chip was later converted into a test chip that was used for technology demon-stration.• Lead the core’s verification team on various occasions. Co-ordinated between teams spread across two design centers in UK and India. Delivered a high quality core to lead partners on time.• Worked with the Director of Technology for evaluation of MALI GPUs before ARM’s acquisition of Falanx (Norway).

• Lead the team responsible for the complete development of a unique power line communication system.• Mathematically modeled and proved a new innovative technology for power line communication.• Liaised with the state electricity department to gain relevant permission to conduct experiments on main power grid. This required producing a technical note on the harmonics that would be pumped in on mains line due to the technology.
