At Amazon, I am part of the Prime Video International Expansion org and am responsible for 3 two-pizza teams. My primary focus is towards introducing new payment methods on Prime Video to enable different segments of customers in different geographies to sign-up and have a good time streaming. In addition to that, my teams also own charters for introducing local currency transactions in various countries (instead of USD or EUR), improving customer retention in emerging marketplaces, providing streaming benefits as part of Prime plans when Prime expands to a new marketplace and introducing Amazon Channels and TVOD (Transactional Video in Demand) in Prime marketplaces.Outside of the usual business asks, my job is to ensure we are technically driven to the right architecture as an engineering team, following the best practices and maintaining operational excellence. Additionally, I mentor the members of my team to help them scale in their roles independently.
