“Many people/business struggle at digital self-representation”Being a techie and avid Google user, I found it simpler to enter the world of digital marketing.I first learned it from eminent experts like Brian Dean, Semrush Academy, Coursera, Moz, and many more.I had little interest in shoes. So started writing about shoes. I used Blogspot for writing blogs. Connected with google search console and google analytics. Applied all SEO tactics that I learned. Registered their nursery business on Google Maps by using Google My Business.Took dropshipping as a challenge, as it would help me apply all digital marketing skills at once. Start from creating a Shopify website to making the best copy and writing product descriptions. Creating social media content and running ads.I was a little bit afraid but anyways took the plunge. Found products from aliexpress. Created a Shopify store. It was a toys website aimed at US customers and long story short it got failed. Why? Lack of fundamental knowledge and poor execution.What next then? went back to basics and again started learning about the fundamentals of online selling, what is targeting, how to create a buyer persona, content creation (post as well as video), ecommerce seo, and facebook ads.Came back to the ring. This time with some new moves. So earlier I had created a general ecommerce store for toys. But now I created a focused one-product website. The product was an electric nail clipper and I named it cuteclippers. Aged(45+), dexterous US people (people having arthritis in their hands) were the target audience.Started rolling out content on Tiktok, IG, and YT. Ran two different Facebook ad campaigns. Interest-based advertising and retargeting.This time got 8 Add to carts and 1 Checkout under ₹1500 of FB budget. My CPC was under ₹22.The store is now closed.
