Role: Underwriter Assistances a. Studying various Insurance Proposals from Brokers (Producers/Agents).b. Prepares new and renewal quotes according to underwriting instructions. Issues quote as needed to agent. Revise as necessary according to UW’s instruction.c. Review and verify all information on new and renewal applications is complete and accurate w.r.t. to Image & resolve differences.d. Computing results for appropriate premiums with the help of actuarial information Tool & own judgment.e. Review & approve endorsement requests within authority, Also refer to UW for approval outside authority. Send declination mail to agents, if declined.f. Process binders as requested by underwriting completing per UW instruction. If policy gets issued, Provide policy numbers to agents as requested.g. Handling Endorsement e.g. Change in rating, premium, Broker change etc as per company rules & State specific guidelines. h. Doing UAT testing during initial phasei. Taking follow up on behalf of UW & Respond to agent inquiries via emailj. Making decision on Terminated Policy whether to reinstate the policy or not.k. Working as a SME & resolving queries and providing training to new batches.
