As head of family ecosystems analytics, I work with product and analytics leaders across the Meta-Family of Apps (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Reality Labs) to drive company strategy by building the most important set of executive dashboards and data eco-systems that reflect the state of the company from a Meta-Family of Apps perspective. The dashboards are used by over 3k+ Monthly Active Users including heads of family of apps and Mark's c-level team. The Family of Apps Growth metrics are reported externally to wall-street. My team owns some of the most core datasets at Meta that are critical to driving growth analytics across the Family of Apps. We standardize product-market fit patterns such as Growth Accounting and Retention through reusable ETL libraries. These patterns continue to play an instrumental role in the growth of products across the company, while improving development efficiency.As the senior-most DE Tech Lead at Meta, I envision, influence and provide direction in unifying big data workflows (across batch, streaming, logging & consumption) by making the data lineage semantically richer through governed logical abstractions (i.e. richer schema and business logic constructs). The semantic abstractions continue to enhance our ability to understand usage of user data across Meta's vast data lineage and help comply with privacy commitments. They also help up-level the entire end-to-end data life-cycle management, make the data consistent and the data processing more efficient.

Head of Family Eco-systems• Architected People/Family-level Growth, Engagement and Revenue metrics through a privacy-aware, ML model-driven, data ecosystem across the Family of Apps, that is critical to Meta-wide strategy, executive product decisions and reporting to wall-street.• Designed & built a privacy-aware infrastructure through monitoring, detection, purpose/access control-aware violation enforcement across the entire data lineage with ePD-compliant aggregate k-anonymization. • The datasets we produce are core to multiple product and analytics ecosystems across the company and therefore, have a huge downstream dependency graph across the Meta warehouse. The dashboards we build are used at the highest executive leadership levels and across the company with over 3k+ Monthly Active Users. • Led a cross-functional, multi-org, investigative war-room that helped discover and mitigate one of the biggest security attacks in Meta history affecting millions of users. The datasets we produce helped detect and mitigate the attacks and continue to play a crucial role in helping keep the platform safe.Search and Profile Data Engineering• Led and scaled multiple teams to produce insights that helped drive building and launching the Facebook Search feature with auto-complete predictions. • Helped re-architect the Search Typeahead and Result Page logging with a unified event data model with sessionized real-time metrics that continues to drive ML-based ranking, experimentation and various product analytics use cases. • Built extensive search growth and query analytics, that helped provide product-market fit insights into various search use cases and product experiences.
