As a Technical Program Manager for Alexa Voice Shopping at Amazon, I identified and addressed technical challenges, managed the technical design of new features, and onboarded teams for international market expansion. By doing so, I helped Alexa Voice Shopping rapidly stand up new marketplaces and devices while offering rich feature sets, resulting in a faster expansion of the user base in the international market.One of my recent accomplishments was successfully launching Alexa on the Amazon India retail app, which helped to expand the reach of our voice shopping capabilities in the Indian market. I was also the technical member of the team and I played a pivotal role in building a team of over 16 members.

As a core Technical Program Manager (TPM), I was responsible for setting up the Amazon warehouse technology for the company's retail launch in Singapore, which included launching routing systems for last-mile delivery technology, such as Amazon Flex. This was a groundbreaking achievement, marking Amazon's first retail launch in Southeast Asia.In addition, I spearheaded the launch of Alexa Voice Shopping in various countries worldwide, including India, Japan, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Ireland, and Australia. These expansions greatly increased Alexa's reach and generated new revenue streams for the company.

I specialized in developing and maintaining backend services, with a focus on transaction processing and fraud control. Additionally, I was responsible for pushing data to the data warehouse to support data analysis.As a Scrum Master for a two-pizza team, I managed the backlog, assigned priorities, and drove projects across teams located in different sites. In this role, I successfully coordinated and streamlined project management efforts.I also worked as a backend developer on Amazon's Digital Video Product, specializing in the encoding area. In this capacity, I leveraged my technical expertise to develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance the product's capabilities and performance.

As a Java intern, I utilized my knowledge of Java, JavaScript, JSP, SQL, HTML, and CSS to make valuable contributions to the team. Specifically, I worked on adding new user CX elements that significantly improved the click-through rate on advertisements.In this role, I leveraged my technical skills and attention to detail to identify areas for improvement in the user experience. As a member of the GRAPES-3 Experiment team, I designed and implemented algorithms using C++ and the ROOT framework to monitor scintillator detectors. The implementation of these algorithms resulted in a significant improvement of approximately 15% in monitoring accuracy, enabling us to better detect and analyze cosmic ray events.In addition, I developed a web interface that allowed for the seamless control, configuration, testing, and monitoring of VME. This interface enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of the team's work, enabling us to streamline our processes and achieve better results.
