Over two decades of working in an MNC environment with a plethora of opportunities and challenges have been immensely enriching and fulfilling. Lessons from professional and personal life have fed into each other and helped me navigate any situation over the years.Starting my journey as a service engineer, I grew my professional wings into sales, sales & service management, product management and eventually to a P&L responsibility. My time in the field, helps bring the required perspective from customers, while working towards revenue, growth and profitability of the business. Managing a business has taught me how to bring together different functions and help them envision the ultimate purpose of the organization’s existence.I am fiercely passionate about people and facilitating their growth opportunities. One of the greatest joys of my life has been to see my team members going on to manage positions of higher responsibilities. I believe in nurturing the untapped human potential and leverage it for organization andgrowth of the individual. We were recognized as one of the great places to work by GPTW twice in the last 3 years.It has been a gratifying learning experience to build the R&D and manufacturing in India to develop products. IndiScope, an Infrared based milk analyzer to screen milk adulteration, was conceptualized and commercialized in record time and it met with phenomenal success upon its launch in India. I work closely with the global R&D to develop the strategies aligned with the market opportunities. I have a proven track record in turning around the businesses, execution of strategic imperatives, channel and territory expansion, tapping the growth opportunities, organization transformation, leadership development and customer satisfaction. I led the organization transformation at PerkinElmer and developed a high-performance team and culture, resulting in terrific success for the last 7 years.I have led the company’s efforts across all the end markets like Life Sciences, Diagnostics,Food, Applied and Informatics.In my new expanded and concurrent role as General Manager – Global ESA (Economical, Sustainable and Accessible) portfolio, I have an opportunity to work in developing the new products for the Global growth markets.The divestiture of analytical & food business was an opportunity to learn and drive thetransformation into a pureplay life sciences & diagnostics company.I am on the board of the company as one of the Directors.
