About Shriya Kakde
I graduated (May 2024) with a B.S. Honors in Neuroscience, minors in Global Health & Integrative Medicine, and a certificate in Cross-Sector Leadership through the Next Generation Service Corps program at Arizona State University (ASU). Before medical school, I am serving as a teaching fellow with GO Foundation Americorps in NYC.My personal mission is to promote social, mental, and physical wellness for all. My Honors Undergraduate thesis, "Framework to Support the Social Experiences of University Students with Mobility Disabilities," under the guidance of Dr. Elizabeth Lightfoot and Dr. Patrick Bixby, is pending publication.I have contributed to bacteriophage, gut microbiome, and bioelectrics cancer research at ASU and Old Dominion University.
