In my current role as Senior Assistant Editor for CONSTRUCTION WORLD Magazine- Mediator between the Editor-in-Chief and Sub-editors, designers, copy-editor, freelance writers, in-house research division and sales division.- Grooming and developing in-house editorial and events team- Planning and executing all editorial responsibilities for Construction World – the company’s 21-year-old flagship magazine- Planning and executing content for special supplements and newsletters – anniversary issue; event-based, sector-based and project-focused supplements- Planning and writing opportunity-based articles, news snippets, feature stories, timely and analytical reports, for the print and digital medium to meet the business needs of readers- Conceptualising design layouts and proofing and signing-off the final pages into print- Meeting and Interviewing Building, Construction and Infrastructure leaders to enhance their engagement with the magazine- Networking with and Interviewing industry leaders, top government officials, policy-makers, trade associations and financiers - Upholding the B2B nature of the magazine and driving quality standards in terms of editorial content, profile of interviews, regular feature requirements and timeliness- Enhancing the profile and visibility for the company and it's brands in top forums, international conferences, and trade expos- Convening jury meets and roundtable discussions with CEOs- Soliciting top speakers from across industries and from around the world for conferences- Active engagement with top construction companies, leading architects and builders from across the country for industry awards- Liaising with the sales team; updating them on industry trends and helping them with useful leads and opportunities- Liaising with PR Agencies and brands- Actively involved in putting together the content and production of Show Daily, a daily trade journal printed at the international exhibition bauma Conexpo India since 2011
