About Shriya Joshi

Shriya is a 12th grader at the Center for Information Technology (CIT) at Deep Run High School. She is extremely passionate about computer science, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Shriya has conducted research at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) on Facial Analysis through Deep Neural Networks and is currently working on research on Poisoning Attacks in Deep Neural Networks at VCU. She has also built software for Texas A&M University for certificate management. In school, Shriya is vice president of the Astronomy club, and secretary of both CIT Council and French National Honor Society. She is also in National Honor Society, Computer Science National Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta. Shriya has also been competing in Cyber Patriot since freshman year and is team captain. She is also an avid volunteer at a local meditation center along with serving on the Police Chief's Advisory Council. Shriya is also a second degree black belt in Taekwondo along with being a tutor.
