My name is Shruthi Ravichandran and I am a second-year studying public health at Indiana University. With a foundation in medicine and my interest in humanitarian aid, I have become deeply passionate about public health and global healthcare systems. I believe everyone deserves comprehensive and individualized access to healthcare. And while there are currently a variety of barriers that may prevent that, I am determined to help break them down. I also have a special interest in research and greatly value the time I have spent in a lab, as it has taught me critical thinking and analytical skills through hands-on experience as well as a sharper eye for pattern recognition and data analysis. I enjoy writing and exploring different writing style. I have experience in a variety of communication styles, whether that be professionally or through social media. I am quite creative as well and definitely appreciate roles that lets me marry these two skills. Innovation and improvement are at the forefront of any task I set out to do and like conceptualizing new ideas for the best way to accomplish my assignment. I relish any opportunity to learn, enjoy collaborating with others, and am able to easily adapt to new and different problems and experiences.
