About Shruti Acharya

I am a Research Scholar at the University of Queensland-IIT Delhi Academy of Research(UQIDAR) working under the supervision of Prof. Sanjay Dhir (Department of Management Studies, IIT-Delhi) and Prof. Sunil Venaik ( School of Business, University of Queensland, Australia). My current research focuses on understanding vaccination behaviours in the context of a rapidly evolving and uncertain global environment with the increased pervasion of internet and social networking capacities. I have completed my Masters in Social Work with a specialisation in Public Health from the Tata Insitute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, India. I have extensive field work experience across rural and urban landscapes in community health, cancer rehabilitation and maternal and newborn health. Before joining the joint Ph.D program at UQIDAR, I have worked as a Research Assistant at ICMR-National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research, NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh, India.
