Project: Migration of Sybase SQL procs to pyspark▪ As part of database migration, procs written in SQL were converted to pyspark modules andintegrated within the system. It involved modifying structure, performance tuning,optimization, and simplifying the module. Project: Analysis of Throughput degradation of tier 1 US-based operator and predict Throughput▪ Analyzed Ookla data of 6 months to analyze the Throughput (Data Speed) across various regionsof the US.▪ Identified markets and week number where throughput was degraded using nonparametricstatistical tests.▪ Analyzed the throughput degradation relation across various RF parameters such as RSRP, RSRQetc, servers, mobile handsets using statistical parameters such as mean, median, and chartslike box plots, scatter plots, etc in Tableau.▪ Predicted throughput, using ML algorithm by creating multiple classes, for the operator andcompare with another operator each for android and ios devices for every market. Algorithmstried: Decision trees, KNN, Naive Bayes, SVMb. Project: Competitor analysis of tier 1 India based operator at the geographical level▪ Ookla data of PAN India for 3 months was analyzed at the grid level.▪ Identified areas where the operator having good throughput than another operator andmargins were categorized using statistics.▪ Created PowerBI dashboard to provide action items to the marketing team using pre-postanalysis of grids.c. Project: User complaint analysis of tier 1 India based Operator▪ Analyzed SR data of both prepaid and postpaid users to identify the data complaints at the sitelevel.▪ Complaints data was correlated with Google data and PM data KPIs.▪ Thresholds of various KPIs for high complaints were determined using a binary classificationmodel.▪ Classification for the happy unhappy users based on the cell location was done using theXGboost model. Manual errors were there like addressmissing, spelling mistakes, etc. Manual work was required but efficiency had been improved byusing partial string matching (NLP).▪ Merging of accounts requires knowledge of basic Customer Relationship management such astheir payment profile, account details, sales team, etc.▪ Implemented using R connecting Siebel CRM (DNS Set up) and then analyzing the data fetched;Implementing customer segmentation (Distributor, seller, etc) and matching them with theirD&B details. Verification of data was done by Data Stewarts.b. Project: Price Revenue Optimization Data Cleaning▪ Created Data mart which involved extracting Invoice data, Quotes data, data cleaning(treatment of missing values), and variable selection to determine the right pricingstrategy for Hydraulics equipment in North America.
