As a Mainframe Software Developer, worked in a maintenance and development project related to Cargo Airlines.Logistics Management System (LMS) is a comprehensive Unisys Mainframe legacy system and a browser-based product that provides support for cargo services such as Shipment of cargo, Booking, Real-time online cargo, Terminal control, Flight information, International customs, Cargo rating applications, Goods delivery, Message processing etc. USAS is a vast and most widely used Logistics management software product.The project handles the Real-time cargo environment, enhance new features in the system, and also react to issues reported by the users.Key Responsibilities:- Involved in understanding the requirements, exploring the feasible way to attain the goal, design and development of the modules- Development of minor/major feature enhancements in the application- Debugging/Code fixes for tickets- Unit testing the changes and check for regression of new feature added- Involved in modifying the system for providing services to the new airlines- Involved in handling request-for-change- Explanations of specific functionality and behavior of the system is done on specific requests.
