Whenever transformer oil undergoes fault, it liberate hydrocarbon gases. Based on the gases liberated, their quantity, the software designed using matlab in project employs ANN determines & the severity in other words type of fault along with the service life of transformer.The project is employed to Power &distribution transformers as most of the faults are severe in them compared to other transformers.
