As a Junior attending high school and reaching closer to the professional world, I am more than eager to step into my interested career fields of business and computer science! I am fascinated by computer science, machine learning, and technology in general, and its various potential ways to make a meaningful impact on the future with its implementation in the business world. My fascination with the business world began with my involvement and the development of my entrepreneurial skills in the DECA organization. Being a nationally qualified individual, I witnessed thousands of other like-minded peers who were just as passionate and willing to place their mark on the business world as I was. It also made me realize that this sector would rise along with another field that works with almost everything else: computer science and machine learning. Computer science does make the lives of people easier. However, it also has the power to be crafted into the business world to help the business sector be productive and efficient, a real investment for the future. The thought of being a part of this investment captivates me the most. Apart from being a prospective business and IT professional, I have a deep passion for dance and show utter importance to financial literacy. Being a dancer for 8+ years taught me discipline, motivation, power, and confidence. These qualities have ultimately allowed me to be comfortable enough to co-found and co-lead an investment and finance club at my school, helping my peers understand the vitality of financial literacy and money management at a young age. The Young Investors Society chapter I co-lead at my school has allowed me to showcase my understanding of money management's impact on well-being and, ultimately, the freedom it can bring to each person in the future. What is life without goals to accomplish and dreams to achieve? As a student with experience in Python and currently learning Java, and soon wanting to indulge myself in HTML and CSS, I am actively seeking opportunities to put those skills to use. Additionally, I would love to expand my expertise in business by interning to gain a real-time experience in the work field. Ultimately, I find life most enjoyable and impactful when I leap out of my comfort zone and challenge myself by trying new things.
