Graduating from TU Delft with a Masters in Urbanism in 2018, I have gained about 7 years of work experience across research and design offices in the Netherlands and India. I have specific expertise in developing collaborative and equitable strategies for climate resilience and community well-being in cities. Currently, I am a Program Manager at WRI India with the Urban Resilience team, where I work on strategies for implementation, governance and finance for Nature-based Solutions. The projects I lead here enable cities to adopt and scale-up ecological solutions for climate resilience, prioritizing communities most vulnerable to climate risks. I also work with partners within the India Forum for Nature-based solutions, a coalition of research, finance and practice organizations. Here, I am currently developing a program to identify opportunities and barriers to finance a systems approach to urban NbS- exploring innovative finance models to de-risk investments, while building stakeholder capacities to access the same.Across my work, I build strategies for the production for inclusive and environmentally resilient places. Learnings are shared through knowledge products, as well as regular dialogue with decision makers, investors, finance experts, NGO's, practitioners and community groups. Projects are informed by meaningful forms of engagement with the natural environment.
