I have been involved in the Supply Chain Industry over the past 30 years, with a major focus on the Warehousing/Distribution side of the industry. I started as a warehouse worker loading and unloading trucks and over time, with good leadership and a willingness to learn on my part, I began to understand the nuances of how the overall operation worked. Within a few short years I worked my way into a leadership role and into senior management over the course of my career.My strategy is simple... Invest in the company’s greatest assets, by coaching, mentoring, and developing its people. I strongly believe in developing leadership skills and empowering people to take ownership of their processes. I am detail oriented, data driven and use an analytical approach before initiating change. I believe that there’s a difference between strategic continuous improvement and looking for ways to optimize processes versus making change for the sake of making change. I also believe that effective listening, communicating, and planning is the key to being a good leader, and I strive to create a positive motivating environment that transitions into company growth.
