About Shuaib Mitchell

An award winning Motion Picture & Television Director, Producer and Screenwriter, SHUAIB MITCHELL is a proud member of the prestigious Director’s Guild of America (DGA). Mr. Mitchell is a graduate of Howard University (Washington, DC) where he studied film and television production under an esteemed faculty that included internationally acclaimed filmmaker Haile Gerima. He began his professional career at C-SPAN, where he later directed the live nationally televised viewer call-in shows. Mr. Mitchell has produced and directed several award winning films and television shows throughout his illustrious career including STRAIGHT UP GO GO (A documentary film on the history, culture and sociology of Washington D.C’s world renowned “Go-Go music”), TOO SAVED (a feature length romantic comedy) and NOCTURNAL AGONY (a feature length dramatic thriller starring veteran Hollywood actors Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs, Vernee' Watson, Rae'Ven Larrymore Kelly and Grammy award winning gospel recording artist Hezekiah Walker).
