My academic credentials include a Ph.D. from NERIST, Arunachal Pradesh, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Design & Manufacturing from NIT Silchar, Assam and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tezpur University, Assam. I have previously served as an Assistant Professor at NIT Arunachal Pradesh, where I was involved in teaching a variety of subjects such as Manufacturing Technology, Non-Conventional Manufacturing, Workshop Practices, and Computer Numerical Control. During my engagement at NIT Arunachal Pradesh I held various key responsibilities including UG and PG teaching, project supervision, lab in-charge, UG coordinator, NBA faculty coordinator, and committee member for the Innovation and Startup Cell. I was also involved in numerous institutional roles such as editor of the newsletter, member of the Anti-Ragging squad, and Faculty in charge of the Training & Placement cell. My professional journey includes significant contributions to higher education through roles such as External Examiner at GIMT Guwahati and NIT Nagaland, and as a Visiting Professor at Dhemaji Polytechnic, Assam. I have participated in various academic and professional forums, notably co-chairing a technical session at the 8th International and 29th AIMTDR 2021 conference. My research is deeply rooted in machining investigations, additive manufacturing, and materials science, with 34 publications to my credit as of now, including 22 in the last five years. My research primarily focuses on Design, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, Tribology & Optimization.I am a member of The Institution of Engineers (India) and have been actively involved in IP awareness programs, faculty development initiatives, and evaluation of innovative projects under the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell. My commitment to academic excellence and research innovation is reflected in my continuous efforts to advance knowledge in my areas of interest, particularly focusing on the integration of creativity and innovation in engineering education and practice .
