1.Review the associated Design documents like DDRs, DRBs, DPs and CIDs to understand the productdesign intent and interfaces. 2.Analyze the GE ESM/IRMs to understand the repair/inspection limit associated with the statednonconforming feature and document the affected repair/inspection limits.3.Prepare substantiation for fit and assembly of the nonconforming hardware by performing tolerancestack-up analysis.4.Study the Non-conformance on stress state of the part by performing operations like creating NC modelusing UG-NX, FEM analysis, calculating Stress Concentration Factor(Kt), life calculation usingSIESTA.5.Obtaining concurrence with MAE, AERO, PDE, TSD, UVC and PSE team for their stand points on thestated non-conformance on case to case basis.6.Sentence the Non-Conformance with the engineering substantiation as ACCEPT, REJECT, REPAIR orVOID based on GE operational guidelines for assessment of Non-conformance.
