*The Operations Analyst is responsible for the smooth operations of the datasets, ensuring the data meets PitchBook’s high-quality standards while continually increasing the efficiency, productivity and data integrity of the team.*Be the authoritative point person on dataset operation; demonstrating exceptional knowledge of PitchBook products, industry and client base.*Work closely with Dataset Leads in Seattle.*Responsible for compiling market intelligence on the competitive position of the dataset and driving internal communication of those findings throughout the organization.*Gather team feedback and utilize PowerBI reports to identify root causes of systemic data problems and drive operational, methodology and PitchBook Database optimization.*Leverage in-house database, business intelligence reports and other technology-based tools to ensure that proprietary data is audited and added to the PitchBook Platform while adhering to complex research tracking methodologies to ensure that data is of the utmost quality.*Responsible for maintaining a standardized business review for the dataset.*Roll out methodology updates and process changes/improvements with necessary documentation.*Maintain accountability for the client request pipeline for the dataset.*Regularly collaborate with the broader organization to develop and improve processes, tools and methodologies; identifying and driving opportunities to improve upon the core quality metrics (comprehensiveness, accuracy, timeliness).*Communicate effectively and efficiently with the team and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, address roadblocks and celebrate wins.*Provide training and ramping up support to new members of the team, both locally and abroad.*Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.*Participate in recruiting and hiring efforts.

*Additionally, take ownership of the project and connect with stakeholders or subject matter experts for any queries or process improvement ideas.*Provide training to develop necessary technical skills and content knowledge.*Conduct data quality checks and develop action plans to ensure data reliability, completeness and consistency.*Recommend, implement and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.

*Researching, collecting and entering data on companies that are raising funding from private equity investors as well as receiving debt financing from lenders into the PitchBook platform through various sources including press releases and SEC filings (10-K/Q, S-1, D, etc.)*Tracking a variety of deal types including LBO/Buyout, M&A, Add-on, SPAC & Reverse Merger, IPO, Growth, PIPE, Secondary transaction, GP Stakes, Mezzanine, Loans and Revolving Credit Facilities.*Transferring data into formats consistent with database requirements while ensuring data quality.*Confirming data belongs to specific entities tracked in the platform using various research techniques.*Collaborating on projects to identify opportunities to improve data comprehensiveness and accuracy.
