KrishiMitra operationalized our research group's work on crop pattern optimization to reduce water and power consumption in agriculture while boosting farmer incomes. With pilots involving 250+ farmers, KrishiMitra reached the Asia finals (global semi-finals) of the Hult Prize, the world's largest social entrepreneurship competition.Now mentoring 4 students at IIT Bombay to carry forward KrishiMitra's legacy through Negative Emissions Technologies in agriculture, while using carbon credits to generate revenue shared with farmer partners.
