As a Backend Developer at Impetus, I focus on optimizing and enhancing the Order Management System (OMS) for C&S Wholesale Grocers. My responsibilities include:• Process Design & Integration: Architected and developed billing integration processes for the OMS, tailored for various distribution centers.• Data Pipeline Development: Built and maintained data pipelines for inbound and outbound processes using Python, Apache Airflow, and GCP Composer.• API Development: Designed and implemented APIs for outbound file generation and routing integration; managed UI CRUD operations on invoice data and order release status using Python Django, GCP CloudRun, and GCP Pub/Sub.• Performance Optimization: Enhanced process efficiency by making operations asynchronous and optimizing GCP configurations, reducing processing time from 20 minutes to under 10 minutes for 1000 orders.My role emphasizes leveraging cutting-edge technologies and optimizing workflows to drive efficiency and scalability in complex systems.

Backend Developer at Research Impact Team at USC, Marshall School of Business.Some of the projects undertaken by me include-• Developing automated python scripts to scrape required data from websites and transforming it as per the project requirement and storing it in MongoDB.• Automating Python scripts to analyse data in different ways.• Implementing a P.O.C to use Ordered Logistic Regression modelling to compute ranking of business schools.• Designing a web interface to allow easy adding/modification of project data while conforming to project constraints. Here, the interface is used to change affiliation of researchers under various conditions, which allow for correct segregation of authors we want to consider and those we don't. This involved using Angular & Node.• Developing an account security settings page and integrating it with the existing Sign-Up flow of the project website. This involved using Angular & Node.

Worked for DataRaker (Utilities Analytics Product).Some of the highlights of my work here include-• Devised custom Python/Shell scripts/PLSQL functions for integrity and domain specific checks on consumption data, reducing the need for manual checking by a huge margin.• Developed multiple custom Python interfaces for in house ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) engine.• Collaborated with Client Success Managers and implemented a feature to correctly assign status (Active/Inactive/Locked/etc.) to electric meters using daily incoming data. This project involved a lot of discussions to finalize client requirements and analyze daily meter data to come up with a solution.• Refined processes run time, by optimizing existing code algorithm, SQL queries and database partitions. A lot of ETL and analytics processes were scheduled on production environment which ran for 18-20 hours every day. Optimizing the processes allowed for some breathe time between those processes.• Took ownership of projects and cooperated with multiple teams to design, develop, and deploy solutions.
