Kids for Tigers was an environmental education program that partnered with schools across India to increase awareness amongst children about biodiversity and the urgent need to save tigers and forests in order to secure our own future.• Worked very closely with the Delhi chapter of KFT and helped generating awareness about the forests and wild animals among school children.• Got the opportunity to visit the Nature Trail at Late CM Sheila Dikshit’s residence, to see and study the diverse species of plants and animals commonly found in Delhi. I was lucky enough to meet with the CM herself after the trail. • Arranged and led the Kids For Tigers rally, Delhi. The rally, in association with Happy School, saw over 1,000+ children from schools across Delhi gathering at Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti near Rajghat to commemorate the International Day of Forests.• Selected as the National Ambassador, North India region; attended the Ranthambore Conservation Leadership Camp, June 2013. Received recognition and appreciation from the Editor of the Sanctuary Magazine, Mr. Bittu Sahgal for continued dedication and commitment towards tiger conservation. • Won 2nd prize in the AIRCEL NDTV SAVE OUR TIGERS ART COMPETITION 2014• Organized International Tiger Day celebrations and the annual Tiger Fest for schools in New Delhi. Participated in the SAVE OUR TIGERS workshops, signature drives and exhibitions.
