Vidyard is pioneering video solutions tailored for businesses to communicate, collaborate, and convert. As the Engineering Manager for our "Idea Labs" Innovation + AI team, I lead a group of up to 12 in crafting next-generation features and capabilities within and beyond our current product offering. This includes using generative AI + new technologies to give our customers the best tools to help them grow their businesses.

Pathways to Education is a national charity aiming to break the cycle of poverty through education. My role as Product Lead for the Pathways Innovation/Learning Lab was to lead the product development of the Pathways Online Platform, from concept to launch in under 6 months with a team of 5 developers. In this role, I led hiring and managing the development team, creating a product roadmap, interacting with students and volunteers that would use the platform, and creating the foundation for a high-growth, effective product-development team.

Vidyard makes work easier by helping people communicate better with video. As Product Manager for the Free Team, I helped bring Vidyard's first freemium offering to light by leading the product roadmap and vision for our free product.

In my initial role at Vidyard as a Software Developer, I worked primarily on the front-end for the analytics team, creating the initial Insights Dashboard with accessible, functional charts and data visualization dashboards for Vidyard power users.

Evergreen Digital Marketing is focused on the strategy, implementation, and measurement of digital marketing campaigns for North American based small to medium sized organizations. Our platform makes sending detailed, time-coded feedback on videos as easy as sending an instant message. • Conceptualized, produced and published digital media content for organizations in KW.• Filmed corporate events, online learning videos, company profiles, as well as storytelling campaigns for Velocity, TribeHR, Pathways to Education, ACUNS, Wilfrid Laurier University, Encircle and more. Streamed live events as required.• Photographed events, real estate, start-up launches, as well as creative marketing campaigns for Velocity, Movember, We Day, Pathways to Education, Wilfrid Laurier University, Encircle, Science Expo, and more.• Designed, coded and implemented fully responsive website at www.launchvault.com and accompanying Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages.

• Built front-end of new web application for company partner using React, Redux Sagas, JWT Authentication, Material-UI, and more to create a fast, server-less, and fully responsive front-end• Leveraged several AWS technologies (S3, Cloudfront, Lambda, SES) to reduce ongoing costs and improve reliability

• Manage domain registration and hosting of over 100 websites• Responsible for installation and configuration of accounts and software, deploying and maintaining Wordpress installs as required• Certified as a Google Partner, providing Google AdWords account set up and information to clients as requested (Previously certified in all three Google AdWords segments)• Designed and managed websites for numerous organizations in KW across multiple sectors

• Responsible for ongoing social media management for the organization, including daily and scheduled updates for the Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages. Designed and implemented new layouts for social media channels to create a consistent online brand image.• Saw an increase in Twitter following by over 1000 followers, and Facebook likes by ~160% in the last eight months• Conceptualized, filmed and edited a video to thank the supporters of Capacity Waterloo Region, meeting with and engaging over 40 past and current donors. Assisted in planning a video highlighting the storytelling campaigns of Capacity Waterloo Region, working with an external video agency to ensure correct brand messages are represented. Photographed numerous events, including annual CreateAthon.• Monitored Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics and Facebook Insights, presenting reports and iterating online presence as deemed appropriate.• Responsible for day-to-day updates to website, including sourcing and posting relevant blog posts, events, jobs, and videos. Added styling and created custom pages to existing web site, including social media and donation buttons, board and staff listing pages, embedded social media stream, app download page, logo download page, and a custom search powered by a national nonprofit leader.• Created and promoted brand new resources, including a Photoshop template for YouTube OneChannel layouts.• Implemented Bitcoin donations at Capacity Waterloo Region, successfully resulting in a $1,000 donation from the Bitcoin 100 organization. Worked with VirtEx Canadian Bitcoin Exchange API to generate invoices to issue tax receipts for Bitcoin donations.

• One of the first Google Trusted Independent Photographers in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, bringing Google Business Photos and the power of Google Street View to local businesses. • Daily responsibilities include lead acquisition and conversion, photographing businesses, editing photos and stitching panoramas, updating Google+ pages for local businesses, and general website/social media updates.• Designed and implemented responsive bootstrap-based website at www.360waterloo.ca along with complementing Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn layouts.

• Project managed the complete redesign and rebuild of www.mosaiconline.ca. Migrated full site from proprietary CMS to self-hosted Wordpress installation with zero downtime. • Created digital media campaigns to showcase various programs offered at Mosaic and compliment a fundraising campaign.• Assisted in overseeing the research, purchase and deployment of technology upgrades within the organization. Cloned and imaged computers for minimal end-user downtime. • Liaised with off-site IT department to maintain and update computers as needed, diagnosing problems and directing them as necessary. • Member of the Mosaic Technology Advancement Council, responsible for reviewing technical issues affecting the entire organization and implementing solutions as needed. • Created visual storytelling campaign and populated Igloo-based Centre for Community Knowledge page as representative for Mosaic.• Created a BlackBerry 10 app for Mosaic using a Wordpress-generated RSS feed & BB10 Blog Bounty Program.

• Planned, designed, and implemented the UI of www.txtocracy.com, working with a team of volunteers to create a text message reminder system from scratch for the #KitWat elections using Python and Django. • Created branding for all social media platforms, as well as press releases and memos.

• Planned and project managed the design of www.tedxlaurier.ca, working with an external designer and a team of volunteers to create the website and online identity of TEDx Laurier 2012.• Implemented event live stream in to website and social media platforms to expand reach of the event.

• Managed all aspects of the business, including day-to-day operations, as well as financial management, marketing, and web maintenance. • Created www.summertech.ca (no longer sustained), as well as complementing Google Places and AdWords accounts, a Facebook page and ad campaign, and much more.• Awarded grant of $2800 to start business from Government of Ontario.• Day-to-day tasks included performing software as well has hardware installations on PCs as well as Macs, and building computers to specifically meet the needs of the customer.• Performed consultancy service for numerous small businesses as well as individuals.
