As the Resilience Evidence Coalition Lead, I drive Communities of Practice on resilience measurement and evidence through knowledge brokering, thought leadership and narrative building across Knowledge, Innovation and Policy at GRP.

As the lead for Shared Learning, I work on a wide variety of initiatives that aim to translate knowledge for policy, practice and investments - case in point, our recent workshop and report on Resilience Measurement priorities and principles, and our joint statement on Water Resilient Food Systems. I work with colleagues and our wide networks on amplifying voices from the grassroots and highlighting expertise from the Global South.

As Regional Ambassador, I have developed partnerships and collaborations, planned, written and edited new content for the young, growing content platform of Water Science Policy.

Responsibilities1) Initiation of multi-stakeholder groups as policy platforms for river governance in the Ganga basin2) Design, demonstration and advocacy of Integrated Urban Water Management (IUWM) in one city (Moradabad) as a part of an HSBC funded programme 'Rivers for Life, Life for Rivers' in order to restore the ecological health of the Ganga and its tributary Ramganga.3) Policy and research support for Water Stewardship work in the Ganges basin for metalware and leather sectors.4) Employee engagement on behaviour change of employees related to Water Footprint reduction in corporates like HSBC GSC and Nokia.5) Member of the Water Quality Working Group to set up internal protocols and systems within WWF-India for effective research and advocacy for threats to water bodies in all landscapes that WWF-India works in.6) Additional responsibilities of conducting threat assessments and stakeholder mapping for new projects as and when required.My achievements in the last four years:1) Completed a water risk assessment for Moradabad as well as an IUWM framework for the city to adopt as a process for Water Management2) Strategic Partnerships with Municipal Corporation and Development Authority for IUWM implementation in Moradabad under Smart Cities Mission3) Set up internal decision-support systems for water quality testing and prepared guidance document for field teams to follow for water quality testing in landscapes4) Preparation of Training Material, conducting workshops for different target audiences including corporates and communities on Water Footprint.5) Initiated multi-stakeholder groups in 8 districts of the Ganga basin, assessed capacities, prepared engagement strategies with groups and facilitated workshops for these groups.6) Gained extensive experience in research, policy and practice on urban water systems, river conservation and governance, water quality management, urban wetland conservation, and facilitating groups

My work profile included coordinating with various internal stakeholders, as well as vendors, for the installation and commissioning of the filling and packaging line and utilities for Hot fill beverages in our plant, within a fixed budget and fixed deadlines. I developed skills in elements of project finance, project planning and tracking, requisition and capital procurement.I have also obtained train in Sales, Distribution, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Human Resources and Manufacturing. In the process, I have travelled to Gurgaon, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Vijayawada in the past few months. Post training, I was placed in Ahmedabad, working for a brown field project coming up at the Goblej plant in Ahmedabad. I was also involved in a project titled, “Spares standardization and vendor development”, as a part of the Engineering Services team.
