I am Shudha Singh, a Masters student at the University of Melbourne (UoM), in Australia. I study environmental management and science, under the Melbourne Climate Action Scholarship (MCAS), focusing on analysing global environmental trends, which are of paramount significance to both researchers and policymakers. Complementing my academic endeavours, I am proudly affiliated with the Melbourne Climate Futures (MCF) Academy as an integral component of my pursuit of advanced research studies in climate and environmental agendas. My professional background boasts a blend of academic and industrial engagement, which underscores my ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary stakeholders on relevant research projects. Presently, I am engaged in collaborative research initiatives with Intrepid Travel, the world’s largest B – Corp company, actively contributing to environmental science and policy decisions spanning Australia and the Pacific region. Moreover, I am delighted to have recently appointed for the co-chair role for the Commission on Ecosystem Management (CEM) Oceania at IUCN, furthering my commitment to environmental stewardship and advocacy on a regional scale.
