I was responsible for developing the products and services that U Bank offers its nonprofit clientele, current and potential customers alike.My goal was to be a portal to the nonprofit sector, where nonprofit organizations can receive holistic solutions that will help them save time and money and, of course, make their banking hassle-free.During my tenure, I continuously met with local and international charities operating in Israel to hear their stories, share experiences, provide referrals, and when appropriate, offer an unparalleled banking experience specifically geared to the nonprofit sector.Moreover, I developed relationships with thought-leaders and experts -- such as lawyers, accountants, fundraisers and consultants -- that service the nonprofit sector. These partnerships provide us nonprofit-support professionals with tremendous insight into the ever-changing world of international charity and with referrals that cater to the extremely diverse needs of a nonprofit organization.

The Nonprofit Banker is an online resourced that houses original articles and links to the tips, tools, trends, and regulations affecting Israel's global nonprofit sector. The material is drawn from literally hundreds of conversations with nonprofit executives and industry experts, in-depth research, and my own first-hand experience as a banker for corporations, specializing in local and international charities operating in Israel.Though no longer updated on regular basis, my content - including over 50 original articles and hundreds of links - can still be found at nonprofitbanker.com. As an account manager for international and local charities operating in Israel, I saw first hand the financial needs, trends, and limitations of a nonprofit organization. By bringing a fresh approach to customer service, my nonprofit clientele knew that they had an ally at their bank and, as such, much deserved piece of mind. The organizations were then free to focus more of their energy on their goals and less on navigating bureaucracy. Through working with my clients, I learned that the greatest benefit I could provide my charities is an address to whom they can call whenever with whatever. Furthermore, it is not about what you say, but how you say it. Because in the end, banking like everything else, is about people.

My responsibilities were twofold: (1) Partner donors/foundations with fundraising projects of the organization (2) Write press releases and informational pieces to publicize the organizations work.During my time at Migdal Ohr, I used my graphic talents, computer knowledge, and writing skills to save the organization thousands of dollars by producing a range of public relations material in-house instead of outsourcing. Furthermore, my patience and tenacity provided the various fundraising arms of the organization with the hard facts, detailed numbers, and descriptive pictures to successfully pitch projects to donors.

Oversaw and evaluated logistical aspects of the organization's seminars, retreats, and youth center activities in the Former Soviet Union (Belarus).

Supervised staff of 15 employees. Coordinated programs between managerial and field staff and local police. Generated specialized reports, presentations, and databases.
