Mechanical Engineer
Current• The primary scope of the service department are installation, commissioning and maintenance of the Marine, Automotive, Industrial diesel & petrol engines such as Detroit engines (2 stroke and 4 stroke), John Deere engines (Electronic and Mechanical Engines), SDMO generators (40 KVA, 60 KVA,100KVA, 600KVA), CompAir compressor, LIEBHERR Wheel loader, Cranes, SHANTUI forklifts, Wheel loader, Bull Dozer;• Adept in the maintenance of the engines including overhauling, de-carbonization, re-alignment & Engine-Dyno testing;• Programming Engine control unit (ECU) for electronic engines, perform generator load test;• Providing expert solution for Troubleshooting of the engines and Air compressors;• Well adapted in different working environments like Dry docks, Offshore (Dubai Petroleum Oil fields), Airports, Military base, On board ships and outside UAE such as Singapore, Kuwait, India;• Heading the service teams for various jobs with European, Japanese, Indian, and Russian Ships;• Hands on experience of auxiliary machine used in engines like different kind of water & fuel pumps, water cooler, heat exchanger;• Extensive experience in setting up and governing of workshop having different kind of machines like compressors, honing machines, lapping machines;• Carrying out administrative work including communication with different types of clients;• Ensuring that all records of maintenance and PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) are updated and maintained in Computerized Maintenance Management Software.• Preparing work scope and schedule;• Responsible in checking and listing the spare parts needed for the job and coordinating with the customer for arrangement;• Sourcing out tools and materials needed for the job and prepare purchase requisition if needed;• Coordinating with Ship Chief Engineer/Captain/Superintendent for smooth execution of job on-site;
