Research fellow working on climate change adaptation, smart cities, urban informatics, and high-performance geocomputation.My current research project investigates the effectiveness of serious games for citizen engagement and public participation in climate adaptation planning. I also have a long-standing interest in high-performance geocomputation libraries for GIS, urban planning, and urban data visualisation in the form of the Georust libraries and ecosystem, written in Rust. I'm also an experienced software developer with over a decade of experience in data analysis and visualisation, scientific computing, GIS, geocomputation, mapping, and processing urban sensor data.
