¬ Strong theoretical background in solid state physics, optics, optoelectronic, optical sensing, and optofluidic.¬ Experience with industrial MEMS manufacturing and integration process.¬ Hand-on experience with semiconductor micro- and nano-fabrication process and integration, familiar with Silicon photonic and CMOS sensor process.¬ Practical experience in semiconductor process technology, including lithography and overlay, dry/wet etching, deposition, diffusion, life-off, wafer thin-down, wafer bonding, wire bonding, etc.¬ Familiar with semiconductor process and metrology equipment, such as Scanner (ASML TWINSCAN), mask aligner, RIE (Plasma-Therm), DRIE (STS), PECVD, LPCVD, e-beam evaporator, furnace, etc.¬ Extensive experience on Silicon/InGaAs photodetector and solar cell.¬ Solid background on Fano resonance photonic crystal membrane reflector, high Q filter.¬ Familiar with thin film based LED and vertical cavity surface emitting laser.¬ Extensive experience with photonic and optoelectronic devices testing and measurement.¬ Experience with free space and fiber-based optical measurement system.¬ Practical experience with photonic crystal biomedical sensing, chemical vapor sensing.¬ Proficient programming using Labview, Matlab, Python, etc.¬ Understanding of Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiment, and familiar with statistical software JMP.¬ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership ability and cooperate very well in team.
