Leading a SAN Management Plane team developing next generation All SAN Array (ASA) solutions across FC, iSCSI, and NVMe protocols. Responsible for up to four teams (back-end and project-wide UI teams) contributing to a Kubernetes based solution developed in Go and Vue utilizing extensive CI/CD and GitOps enabled infrastructure. The project is NetApp’s next generation application-aware data management solution that manages, protects and moves data-rich Kubernetes workloads in both public clouds and on-premises building on NetApp's portfolio of cloud services, storage products and industry-leading technologies.

► In addition to leading the SaaS project below, established and led two additional teams for NetApp’s Hyper-converged Infrastructure (HCI) product development team. Responsibilities included defining engineering roadmaps, release content, and development execution for three teams.► As a part of this product area, attained SAFe certifications (Product Owner/Product Manager and Leading SAFe Agilist).

Led and managed a team developing cutting-edge SaaS platforms for storage monitoring and reporting, enabling customers to prevent, rather than react to, storage issues in their environment. Using Angular, Scala, Kafka, Cassandra, and other full stack and back-end development tools to advanced APIs in and Agile development environment leveraging cloud technologies. Integrate Data Science methodologies leveraging big data analytics including machine learning (AI/ML).

Acquired, developed, and grew the company by implementing operational best practices and guidelines. Expanded from two to five locations (total of seven locations including licensed locations) which established the company as the largest and oldest Run Specialty company in the state of Colorado employing more than 54 people and top 50 among nationwide stores.► Developed strategic plans incorporating customer demographics, competitive landscape, marketing analysis, and company objectives.► Created dashboards and metrics for all areas of the business using business data sources. Implemented complete operational guidelines and SOPs for all company departments including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Inventory, Event Planning, and Purchasing.► Provided operational reporting and data analysis for each department. Conducted both internal and external presentations individually and in groups.► Directed marketing and advertising plans and campaigns to reach new customer markets. Launched new toolsets for marketing communication and social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest). Created analytics around customer trends and created data mining sources.► Developed/implemented networks and toolsets for data-centric tools using front-end web tools and SQL database technologies. Utilized cloud-based services and geo-diverse data networks.

Co-directed both the engineering department and the product group responsible for all Location-Based products.► As the Director of Engineering, responsibilities included product execution, leadership, innovation, staffing, development, and technical and customer interactions for teams in Boulder, Boston, Sweden, and India. Departmental responsibilities included engineering, quality assurance, technical writing, project management, and the overall development life-cycle.► As the Location Product Group Director, directed product development for wireless Location Based Services infrastructure for the commercial and emergency markets. Responsible for Product Management, Engineering and overall Boulder site leadership.

Directed a department of 45 including 5 managers and an 8.5 million dollar budget. Responsible for full budget accountability for expenses and capital; establishing and executing engineering strategy; developing and driving organizational infrastructure and efficiency; and staffing.► Created a new structure to grow the organization from 25 to 45 to support new product development.► Researched and implemented new engineering technologies for new product development.► Improved efficiency by defining development guidelines and processes that provided faster time to market results.► Established guidelines and programs to recruit, motivate, evaluate, and develop staff.

On-site customer liaison for the ESM system on the USAF B2 Stealth program. Developed C, VMS DCL, and FORTRAN software analysis tools on multiple platforms; participated in mission planning and system performance analysis of B2 flight test; and supported the integration of on-board H/W and S/W.► Recognized by a USAF Major General for significant contributions to the success of the B2 Congressional Hooks flight test approval.► Created over 35 C software utilities for integration and test organizations.► Developed a data analysis product in C, which reduced disk storage 92% and executed 15 times faster than previous products.► Introduced a new method for analyzing data on the RS-6000 using a network file system to provide a seamless data path to the VAX.► Migrated C software analysis tools from the VAX to the RS-6000 workstation.
