Legislative Drafting As part of the team tasked with drafting the Downstream Petroleum legislation, I was an key part of the team responsible for research of legislation in comparative jurisdictions, drafting opinions and high level discussion papers, drafting the working brief and the draft bill. Further, I presented the various documents to stakeholders, both internal and external, and ensuring that their positions and concerns are well articulated and ventilated when further discussions were held.Proudly, I was a key team member in the drafting and presentation of the proposed legislation for the Solar Revolving Fund.

Client Satisfaction My role entails ensuring that our legal process are not only compliant with the requisite laws but also reflect the policies of our clients. This includes updating clients on new laws and practises, providing urgent legal advice on matters, procuring third parties to efficiently and cost effectively attend to ancillary mattes such as tracing and service. Further, I ensure smooth and accurate reporting to client, Courts, debtors and other stakeholders, to ensure that the reports sent to their internal executive committees are current and clear enough for key decisions to be made.
