I am an experienced senior manager, management consultant and company director in commercial and government organisations. My career spans more than 35 years in various industries including information services and technology industry, health & disability, retail, entertainment, wholesale and distribution, banking and finance, telecommunications, education. The roles I have undertaken have been varied and include systems engineering, systems operations, technology and management consultancy (including strategic planning, business case development, policy development), project and programme management, sales and account management, commercial and retail marketing, outsourcing and facilities management, and various executive and operational management roles. I have held several senior management positions in Government agencies and large corporations and smaller privately owned companies. I have set up, grown, maintained and sold several businesses. I am interested in business transformation through the application and sustained use of electronic business methods.Specialties: Electronic business generally, in particular strategic planning, business case development, advisory services, process design and reengineering, programme and project management, and outcome realisation e.g. business / sector change management & benefits realisation.
