I am a senior at UC Merced majoring in Applied Mathematics. My research focuses on leveraging machine learning and computational tools to advance precision medicine. From predicting patient responses to lung cancer immunotherapy to developing ML-driven drug discovery models, my work bridges biology, data science, and innovative healthcare solutions.Currently, I am collaborating with the UCSF ATOM Consortium to design predictive ML models targeting cancer-related kinases, with the goal of accelerating drug discovery processes. I have experience in both computational modeling and wet-lab techniques, enabling me to take a holistic approach to tackling complex biological questions.Beyond research, I am passionate about mentoring underrepresented students in STEM and fostering diversity in scientific spaces.
