About Shuting Yang
My research interests revolve around atmospheric science with particular emphasis on addressing methane related issues by processing and analyzing the measurements from multiple observational platforms. I have been involved in field campaigns and sampling projects to investigate the regional anthropogenic methane emissions and sources using the measurements from Picarro CRDS and its associated isotopic device. As a primary contributor to a collaborative project of the U.S. DOE MONITOR program, I contributed to the establishment and configuration of the sampling system, and the derivation of natural gas fugitive leak quantification algorithm. I have developed a unique skillset that encompasses atmospheric measurements sampling and collecting, data processing and analyzing, and algorithm derivation.
