I got an opportunity to conduct research and work as a Research Intern at the University of Delhi. My role and responsibilities as an intern were to conduct research on the topic "Brand influence on consumer purchase decision-making process" and be part of academic and administrative work. Appointed by Prof. Ajay Kumar Singh, Head and Dean, Department of Commerce. I conducted my research under the supervision of Dr. Rohit Kumar Shrivastav, professor at the Department of Commerce. My two-month internship gave me the experience to conduct thorough research and understand consumer behavior and purchase decision-making process. The aim of this research was to determine the impact that a brand has on the purchase decision-making process of consumers as well as to study theories surrounding a brand and consumer behavior. I was able to review different theories and models related to consumer behavior and the purchase-making process. I was also part of the design team for the All India Commerce Conference and various other events that were heldin the duration.
